My ac does not make the fan run continuously. When my ac is on, the fan runs about 3 seconds, and then shuts off for about 12-15 seconds. I've had the car to Ford on four different occasions about this. The last time, they worked on it for a week, and can't find the problem. They finally told me that 'the car is supposed to do that'. The also said 'the temp gauge is supposed to run at the L in normal'. I've given up on Ford, and I'm trying to figure it out myself.

Oh, Kremit, if you remove the ac compressor, I don't think the ac switch will turn the fans on. I think you have to have pressure on the high side of the ac unit before the fans will come on. Check me out on this, as I'm only learning what I can, but I think that's the way it works. I don't think it is just an electrical connection that turns the fans on; I think they come on when the ac pressure reaches 250 or 300 pounds pressure, or somewhere around there.
