I think he was referring to a way to turn on the fans while driving anytime he wanted to. I have thought about this since I say the original post, and I have figured out a way to do it in my head, I just have to check a couple of things, and I am sure it would be possible to turn on both low and high with a manual switch without affecting the PCM control.
In fact I am 100% positive it can be done, but first, I must find out if the relays that control the fans are activated by a NH or NL line. Then I can select the correct component setup to activate these relays.
Once I know if the relays are activated by grounding, or by applying power, it is simple from there. I havnt had the time to go out and check yet. If anyone knows how to do this, if you could provide that info, I could provide a simple cicuit diagram to show you how to build what is needed. I think this is a great idea, and would like to do it to my car as well...
What switch setup would be prefered, IE, one switch to arm your manual system, and a two way switch for high/low, or two switches, one to turn on high, and the other to turn on low. OR please suggest a switch setup.
