Replace it with a straight-thru large res and you'll get the TQ without the drone (check classifieds).

removing the resonator, I feel, lost some low end torque...any of the gains are after the secondaries are opened. It definitley helps the engine breathe better but the low end seems to have suffered. Worth it to me, but I can't wait to finally get a real exhaust.

word around here is that if you do it to an SVT you will get a lot of "droning" but to the regular v-6 it is a nice upgrade in sound quality at the very least.

Alot of rasp. I'm not sure if its a proven dyno mod, By looking at it i would think that it free's up some HP or TQ but like i said i'm not sure if its proven. If i had to do it over again i would substitute it with something thats alot smaller so there is no DRONE AND RASP!

I nevre had any base dyno numbers for my car, but assuming these cars have exactly 200crank hp stock, my dyno numbers give me a *peak* gain of 8.xx (can't rememberthe decimal) HP. That is with a KKM and removed resonator. The stock res is a bottleneck in the SVT exhaust. Dron e isn't annoying at all...you can't even notice when you're on the highway, the rasp however is always there.

I honestly can´t say that I feel any difference but the sound is awesome and the only rasp I hear is when it´s cold It disappears after a few minutes. I say DO IT!

I removed mine, and substituted a magnaflow...kept the TQ, have throaty and deep sound, no rasp and no drone (I put 600+ miles a week on my SVT). HP? Marginal at best. But worth it to me in sound quality.
