how can they call it a ford club, but yet rank on the contour? in the real world of ford car clubs all ford's would be welcomed. i'm not sure i'd call that a car club, or atleast not one i'd want to be involved in.(even though contour's RULE  )

Did the cougar owner (whatever his handle is) say he thinks the Cougar is safer than the Contour? I can understand how he may feel behind the wheel but we've got more than enough accident reports here to show the safety of the Contour.
It's a rough topic. I think people are getting misunderstood left and right; but at least by page 3 things started getting better. I'm debating on whether to join the forums and say hi.

i agree - i just wanted to end that flame war......i'm sure thats not the intent of that site - to rip on the Contour...
