that shift setup would be awesome! but a little pricy i agree. as for why i dont have a 5 speed--i knew nothing about contours when i got it. in fact i got this car to get out of my previous vehicle (loan value was upside down.) it was the only car the dealer would work with. OH well, back to the suject...thanks for the input!

i didnt want the contour at first. i wanted a nice 2 door car. that was pretty punchy. like a mr2 or anything of short. I wanted a mtx from teh begining. but my parents insisted on automatic. and since my brother was selling the contour. it was a great opurtunity for them to buy it. after i drove it i liked it alot, compared to the previous taurses i drove. i paid 2500 for the car and my parents paid the other half.

i still want a mtx right now. i was going to acquire a wrecked svt and so some swaps.
