My climate control fan is not working. When I run a/c, heat or anything the air doesn't blow out of the dash- it comes out the defrost and I think floor vents. I have been running the heat at times to lower coolant temp, could the heat have burned out the motor? I tried finding fuses and it manual sd interior fuse box 37 was for the blower is this what I'm looking for? If so the fuse was ok, but there was a wire connected to that slot also. Any ideas? Thank you

Fuse 37 is blower motor, check fuse 23 which is the blower control circuit. Also check relay operation, by feel, to see if it operates when moving mode switch from off to another position.

Fan only working on high is a symptom that blower motor resistors or wiring thereto is faulty. Check with dealer since recall/extended warranty applies to resistors.

Vacuum line problems (loss of vacuum) will make it blow only onto the windshield (defrost). Disconnected line or hole worn through vacuum line will do this. If so, it probably won't be going to the floor, only to the defrost.

Now I am confused as to what your problem is. Your topic heading and original post said the fan was dead/not working.
If you meant to say that heater blows only to defrost vent then, as posted above by bentleywarren, you probably have vacuum problem.

I had a similar problem a few months back. I would only get air from the defrosters no matter the setting. In remembered reading somewhere that vacuum losses can cause such a problem. After a few hours of searching I found a vacume leak in a hose running down the firewall. The tube had been resting on the manifold and burned a pin hole in it. Once I replace the section of tube (about $1.50) my switch has been working correctly ever since.
