i dont get people bustin on the CRX either. those are nice cars. lets see how nice the tours look when they're all 15 years old. say all you want about hondas, doesnt change the fact that theyre cheap, easy to work on, reliable, and easy to mod. it also doesnt change the fact that my tour is faster than 95% of them, and a lot of annoying people drive them.
now officially a troll, i guess. used to have a black 96 SE, until it broke down one too many times.
now I'm hunting for a motorycle.

we're bustin' on the crx, because it is an ugly little pos...i hate those little things....just cause they have a whole aisle of crap for them at pep boys, doesn't make them cool or anything..but i agree that its the little punks that drive them that gives them a worse image...i still say nothing beats an 87-93 mustang for a cheap easily modded car,and at least its a real muscle car...the whole honda vtec and crx is totally overrated...they aren't fast unless you boost the hell out of it or nos(as the ricers call it) the hell out of it...what good is that????take a $2k stang, drop a few simple bolt ons on it and you've got an easy low 13 sec. street car...and not to mention it looks a helluva lot better than any honda....

Why would I post on the SI board? Most of the people on there are punks! Almost as bad as the people on StreetKiaz.com!!!! I dont have an SI, nor do I have any SI, type R or any other stupid crap on my Accord. I bought the Honda so that I would have a reliable comfortable car.. A lot of the SVT's have the same problems mine did. I had it longer than I have ever had a car... ( 3 years of love and hate ) I love the fox body stangs, had an 89 LX 5.0. I never had a problem with it and had it till 150K. Thats why I bought the SVT, which turned out to be a bad investment for me. I am still on this board because I am an adult and can overlook that my friends on here still drive 'tours . I too hate all the stupid crap that people put on imports... but around here, you see that crap on everything from a Honda to a Neon... or my personal fave.. Mustang GT type R ( yes I have seen MORE than one of these)! And for the record... the cars that were running 8's up at Summer Slam in Jersey this summer... were imports!!!!

The reason for the freezing of the Civic is the Flash that was used. If you notice the image of Speed Demon's car isn't blurred because the flash isn't hitting it. The impression of the Civic was made first and the brightest so any other image of the Civic wouldn't register on the film. The Contour wasn't flashed so the motion it made was collected until the shutter closed. Also the reason for the guy blurring is that photographer followed the action with the camera. The primary purpose of a flash is to help freeze action on low sensitivity film, not as fill light. This is a common misconception.
Speed Demon- As a note to your photographer have him use 800 or 1000 speed film next time to avoid such problems. Also don't use a Point and shoot camera get an SLR with an internal meter and AF.

i think its funny that people thought it was a photoshop because of the bubbles in the tint. the bubbles are in the tint because he is a cheap arse and tried to save the $100 and do it himself. rice all the way. he looks funny with that helmet too. like if he crashes, the helmet is going to help that much... cooped up in that little death trap, he would be a gonner. probably. maybe. who knows. not me. im rambling.

Finish line? First he's said it was the starting line. Second in that low of a light situation it's going to take a hell of alot more flash and film speed to catch either of those cars at the finish. Photochop or not your talking out your ass now.
Also the guy in the Yellow Shirt obviously works at the track. He has a walky-talky in his back pocket.

I say its the finish line because how could the cars be going that fast from the start. But really who cares anymore.
