I just did it. Go to the junkyard and get a cigerette lighter that has the little bulb socket connected to the lighter. Get the whole think that way you know everything fits right. Thats the easiest and cheapest route becuase I was just a Pepboys and they don't sell the entire setup in thier help section, at least not the one I was at.
I just installed a pre 1998 Contour center console in my car and it actually has a light in the lighter and the ashtray. The ring that came with it is green, I'm trying to find a clear one so I can change all the lights in my car blue.
