OK, I have read a few threads on the rattling noise which can come from the rear of the car but this doesnâ??t sound like this is what my Mystique is doing. I have hear a THUD when I go over small bumps or potholes (like a manhole cover). I have checked out the exhaust system and the deck lid think that they may be loose and causing this sound. Everything is tight. I even installed the small Spring Hopper thing for the deck lid which made it even harder to close.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Also I hear a SQUEEEEAK when I pull into my drive or a parking lot which is slightly at an incline. The squeak is so loud I canâ??t tell from which direction it is coming from.
I donâ??t plan to fix these problems myself... I just need to point the Ford Dealership in the right direction because they wonâ??t have a clue... They never do.
