That looks terrible. I hate to ask so soon after the accident, but I will take the intake off your hands. Once again, glad to hear you made it out of there ok.

Don't forget, this is also another reminder of the Contour's 5-star safety rating (if not official, then to me at least). How many people here have completely destroyed their cars and walked out with not more than a few scratches?

Its sad to see the car destroyed, it looked real nice. But at least you and your friend are ok.
yet another testament to the crash worthiness of the contique.
A crash bad enough to roll the car and most likely total it, the driver and passenger practically walk away.
Remember that video of Buckshot, he rolled his car on a race track, real bad, he just got out of the crashed car.....pissed.

Glad to hear you're ok from that! I'm not sure I'd want to be around cars much after something like that!

CobraR and myself got saw a rolled/destroyed 'tour in a recycling yard a few months ago. the dash was completly torn outta the car and in the backseat somewhere. this allowed us to see the reason these cars fair so well in rollovers... there is a 3" diameter (approx.) steel bar that goes from one side of the car to the other, underneath the dash!
it would take a hell of a side impact to crush the front portion of the passenger compartment ot the 'tour.
