Hi, I am driving a Ford Mondeo and was just wondering if anyone got any of those headlamps for the contour.

Not too sure whether it fits my mondeo. Probably someone can advise me on this.

Regards
Andrew

More specific would be good. HL's are not interchangable BTW.

The MKII Mondy lights compared to the Contour lights are different. From what people have looked at, the curve on our lights is slightly different then the curve on your lights (where they meet the fenders). It is also assumed that the Mondys take different grilles then the Contours do so I would assume that the lights are different there as well.

Unless you are in continental Europe, we drive on a different side of the road, which will give you a pattern that will blind oncoming traffic.

If you still wanted to try, look though our links page near the main page. I am sure you could find a vendor that would sell you some to let you try, as long as you paid the shipping to return them if they didn't. Excel Styling Products was going to do this for me with a set of MKI Morettes.

There is always custom work too! Anything will fit that way.

BTW, I was guessing you have a MKII. The MKI Mondeo lamps and the pre-98 Contour lamps look an awful lot alike (but again there are differences).

Oops sorry, forgot totally about it. Well, I am driving the Ford '98 Mondeo with the 2.0litre aetec engine model.

Its headlamps are identical to those on the contour except that its fluted and not the clear kinds.

Thanks alot pal, taken note of that.

I was always thinkinh that it fits. Just too bad for me, it kindof difficult to get anything for my car here in this part of the world.

I am from Singapore, maybe too small for someone to notice at all.

There is plenty of stuff you could do. If you are looking for a different style of headlamp, you could always run a set of these:

Being a Mondy, those lamps would fit, just make sure the guys know what country you are in when you buy them. I have delt with them and they seem to be very helpful.

ESPdesign.co.uk

Also you could check out http://fordmondeo.org/ and get some other ideas on what you could do! Their server is down for upgrades so the forum is inactive right now.
