The black plastic cover over the front cylinder bank and just in forward of the UIM.

Is the IMRC the silver rectangular box under the black plastic cover and above the middle spark plug? The silver box I am talking about is attached by three screws.

Thanks.
I replaced my ignition wires yesterday and had to remove the IMRC to get to the front wires. When I removed it and move it, I heard something like a marble moving around inside. When I shook it, the marble sound continued to move back and forth. Is that normal?
What is the IMRC supposed to do?

IMRC = Intake Manifold Runner Control
ie. it controls the opening of the secondary butterflies in the lower intake manifold.
Without a functional one, you won't get much power above 4K rpms.

If you shake the IMRC, is it supposed to sound like something is moving inside?
