Just curious to find out.Does anyone on here consider sidemarkers to be rice(Of any color;white, amber, blue, etc). Also rims and brighter headlights.Oh ya K&N drop ions and spark plugs(any kind other than stock).

Sidemarkers and headlights arne't rice....but iguess it depends on the headlights you buy. I probably won't go over everything on my car in blur/white. I'm done with lighting except I am looking into sidemarkers. sparkplug wires are not rice, I've got ford racing 9mm wires on my car, in RED. Drop in ari filters aren't bad either, best thing short of an aftermarket cold air intake. Wheels are ok as well, depends on the wheels you get though. Chrome looks like @$$ on these cars IMO. Soemthing Euro would be nice... Rice is "performance" parts that dont' add any performance. Or pointless decals like "a$$clown racing." Or the other day I saw some kid driving a stock altima (plastic wheel covers and all), except he had blue lights everywhere and a big ol' windshield banner that read "altima GXE" As if anyone cared...that would be rice my friend

rice is the ugly played out things...when everyone and their grandma have them (like the nozzle lights). ive seen people have classy cars with some over used aftermarket parts....i guess its just how you make the car look...if you just bolt things on and dont make it flow, or dont make it look good it looks rice...

Rice is APC, found at Advance Auto Parts for sure. Basically APC makes all the neon lights and Honda Civic parts that don't really do anything and take 30 seconds to install. Not that I label anything "rice", but I think what you all consider rice is stuff that doesn't take long to do, and is done very poorly, simply for quick looks and such.

The reason I ask is my car was called rice over on clubsi.com.I was told my headlights, sparkplugs,K&N,and sidemarkers were rice.My sidemarkers are blue, but not bright LED blue. The reflector covering the light is blue so there not bright at all like LED's)Is this rice. They also called me on my rims, polished aluminum.

I think rice is blue lights that are supposed to be orange, or putting anything on that's worth more than the car itself But, you would NEVER see me in a Japanese car, I just dont do those things. A friend of mine, his dad has an '02 Accord, and I refuse to be seen in it, I have a reputation here, I cant let some lowly old Honda ruin it

Woo Hoo a chance to air the laundry list... Clear tailights, stickers, wings, fake scoops/ducts/vents/etc, chrome rims, 18"+ rims, lighted washer nozzles, mono wiper, windshield banners, yellow, neon lights, mis-badging, All show no go, etc... I've certainly missed a few things. IMO of course...

Dont forget the 120 Db "pissed off bumble bee" exhaust, and LED exhaust tips. Just about anything in the APC aisle at Pep Boys.
