Well in reality I'd look into one of the following rides:

1. WRX wagon, to be different and in blue wink
2. FSVT, in blue or silver
3. Altima in silver, period cool

Now in my dreams, I'd be driving a silver w/ red interior 2002 M3 or a yellow S4 laugh Now I know I could dream a bit bigger, but I think those are some dream rides that aren't that far out of my reach, well when they have about 50K on them :p

I would wait for the new Mazda '6' - coming this fall with a 217 hp Duratec HE V6 (& 4 cylinders) - first in a sedan - then about 6 months later in a 5 door hatchback, and then 6-12 months later in a wagon. If the Altima offered all-speed Traction Control (only low speed ATX) in a MTX V6, and offered a Moonroof without leather (I have seen better leather in Cab packages) - it would be a consideration. There is a good piece on the Duratec HE engine in the archives.

Be a little different, go for an older M5 (E34) 1993. 3.8 liters of straight six muscle, 340 hp (in Nurburgring package). They run around 20K Canadian. Or you could opt for a 1995 540i with sport package and 6-spd. They still give an honest 280hp and are a bit cheaper, and newer. Gotta love the older 5 series, very reliable and sporty.

It does. Leather is not a requirement for the sunroof. But I agree about the appearance of the new Altima's leather...

I chose the Sentra SE-R Spec V, and don't regret it one bit! Very good bang for the buck!

1G DSM 4g63. Throw a FMIC, a fat Frank Jr. turbo, some cams and get some headwork done (along with the other easy stuff like fuel pump, injectors, blah blah blah) and you will be more than impressed.

Lots of mods done.
