If I could swing the payment I'd look into the WRX STi or EVO. If not, I'd "settle" for a regualar WRX and mod it a bit. I don't think it would take much to get the 227 hp up to the 261 of the WRX STi wink Another idea would be a used M3, like a 95 or 96, but it would have to be a 4 door and be silver or yellow wink

I would have to say another contour v6 5sp, but if I was unable to fine one then I would look at a ZX2 5spd.

I wouldn't be able to live with myself in a "family sedan with a good engine". Oh wait, I've got one already! Where I live you can't spit without hitting a new Altima, Maxima, new Bimmer 3 or 5 series,or a bug-eyed WRX .
For the cheaper thrills I would go with a second generation M5 or e30 (square) type 3 series BMW.

The old 3 series was available another great 2.5 liter 6. With a few simple mods you're talking 250hp. They also have a great internet forum. www.bmwe30.net

I've been looking at a '98 M3 4dr in black. I drool over it like everyday. I've been racking my brain trying to figure out how to get it, keep my car and still afford the wifes new car. eek Am I nuts or what?

Hmm... well my problem is, I'm a fan of Luxury... so most likely, I'd buy a 95-97 Town Car again. (I miss you Edna -the Town Car's name- and Grampa Ed -the prev owner of my late, and beloved Town Car-) But, I, might also go sports car, and if so, I think I'd look for about an 89 Iroc Camaro. Try for the 350 version, and convert to manual, or one with a stick, and drop the 350 in. Or... a Buick... I know, people say Buick? Is he still talking sporty? The Grand National.... Black Buick GNX... Man I'd love to have one of those. mid 80's, any year the GN's were out. Those things are bada$$.

Words of wisdom...
-I'm too old for this sh*t.
-Dirty jews have well laundered money.
