The quaife is good for most everyone, but this adds extra protection by constantly lubricating the sychros and other areas that can be prone to fatigue.

On the mtx75 being a 'pretty good tranny'. I'd have to say it's a damn good tranny, but it sees lots of abuse (not attacking anyone) by enthusiats like ourselves.

I doubt any elderly contour owners have broken their diffs.[/QB][/QUOTE]

I agree that it is a good tranny for a front drive car. I don't see why putting pressurized oil in the gearbox is going to help that much. By the time you start moving there is oil everywhere because the gears pick the oil up and soak the internal parts. If you lube the synchro to well it may not work properly. I am not saying this pressure thing is useless because I really don't know EXACTLY what it is doing. I was just wondering why you would pressurize any of the oil in the gearbox. If it was that important for wear wouldn't you see it more often in factory gearboxes? The closest I have seen to this is something like the gearbox oil cooler in some of the Porsche gearboxes. Not trying to bash anyone, just curious.
