defintely a worth while investment. like so many others have said, makes the rev so smooth, I actually have to pay attention now that I'm not cruising around at 4500 or something. I bought mine from terry and had him install it, very good experience. If you live close enough to have him do the work, Go for it, he even asked if I wanted my belt replaced while he was in there. Not only is this a mod that makes driving the car feel better, but it's one that actually benefits the car as well, I'd list it as a must do myself.

It's not really a performance upgrade, but more of a recontent thing. Ford probably should have equipped the cars with this thing right off the assembly line. In fact, they DID do just that in Europe with the Mondeo. Ask Terry Haines about that.

It's something I want to get for the car, because I know it'll run smoother, and be nicer to its own internal parts. I have not put mine in yet, but when I do, I'll give keep you posted!

Stealth is best. Make it look stock. Confuse people. Bother people. --'00 Contour SVT in dashing Silver Frost. Completely stock. Gonna do some minor tinkering. Ultimate goal? True dual! Now... Just need lots of money...

Actually it's a newly designed part that was made after the Contour/Mystique was killed off. Like they say; hindsight is 20/20.

It was installed of the new design Mondeo in Europe (01/02)

Terry Ships to Canada. There are also 2 suppliers in Ontario: CTO Motorsports and "Performance Fords" (Where I got mine).

Get contact info from the links page at contour.org or ask in the Eastern Canada forum...

Where is everybody buying theirs from? Is there really any difference (quality?) between the one TH is selling, or BAT is selling?

As I live in New York, it's not easy for Terry to do it for me. I'd consider the drive though. Anyways, would a dealer do this (probably be expensive though) or would the average mechanic know how to do the install?

I don't have the ability (time, space, experience) to attempt such a project on my own.
