okay i dont know what went on with stolen dmd's and blown hoses etc... but in my opinion looking at that frankenstein mtx 'u pays yer money and u takes yer chances'....i wouldn't buy such a weird and questionable looking item for my car especially if it has to be driven on the streets...just because terry says something like no mod is guaranteed or whatever the quote was doesn't mean he has to or should back away from installing it...someone will install twins hamsters under your civic hood if u have the money...doesn't make them responsible for the outcome necessarily...stick with basics like upgraded internals and a cooler...and while we buy all these new parts for the 'tour we should remember that we and our cars are the guinea pigs

having said all that i will also say that i;d be pissed if i spent a grip on some major work and it went bad on me...but if u buy a part that has maybe been installed and worked on one car then u may be getting your hopes up that something wont go wrong...i dont know the particulars on service time of lack there of to make the car right again so i wont comment on that aspect

my brother runs his own business as a computer consultant and installing computer systems for businesses and derek fisher of the lakers as well having setup music studios for others....he does okay at it; it helped keep him afloat while out of work for nearly a yr or so.....he would certainly not blow a customer off just because it was middle of the nite...if u have a good customer that spends good money giving u business there should maybe be some special consideration....he got used to heading in to work at all hrs of the nite while working at oxidental petroleum yrs ago when he'd have to go and send telex's around the world and was on call 24/7 sometimes...he continues that in his own business today and currently is supervising info sys at usc working graveyard so now he's having to help these folks during the day and getting little sleep overall...as much as anything its curtesy and networking

its interesting to see so many on terry's ass now when some of the same were tongue deep over the months i've been on this site...im just wondering if some of this is pent up hostility that is coming out now....not knowing his work ethic and so on i will say that i've often felt that terry treats many on this site no better than the treatment they would receive going to a ford dealer...same attitude quite often

i think both sides have issues....terry definitely does not have the best bedside manner and im sure u've noticed that before this incident but if this guy cant come and defend himself like a man u all should quit wasting space byatching for him....if he doesn't want to talk and terry or whoever keeps saying negative things about him then terry looks like a fool...to me u all make this person look like a puss by fighting his battle for him

i know no one will say (since no one's talking about what happened :rolleyes: ) but i would like to know at least the story behind the dmd being a stolen part...how so???

i woulda kept my 2 cents to myself but after seeing this post everyday get longer and longer i just had to come in to see what the discussion was about and after reading a bunch i stuck my opinion in
