haha, I actually wrote a good bit of the new 'rules'
and fwiw, not many people view "cranky" as a personal attack, and I'm pretty sure British are lumped in with the rest of the caucasians as far as race
Now that the humor is out of the way
I really do recommend the Dual Mode Damper for all the reasons that have been stated already, and if my house weren't stuck in a "spending freeze" on car parts, I would have one on its way from Mr. Haines (though from his posts directed at me lately, I'm not sure he would sell anything to me . . .)
