The way we have been scheduling meets doesn't seem to work. I'm of the opinion that the more meets we have (regardless of the size of said meets), the better they will begin to be. As it is, our meets or so seldom that there is so much pressure that they all be "Great," that they cannot possibly live up to people's desires.. and they therefore don't feel like coming to the next one.
Here's a wacky idea... Why don't we just schedule meets like this... The person who has the original idea should give a date and place.. and then people could either arrive, or not. If you know you will make it, let others know... If you can't make it, let people know.. I think that this style of meet will take a lot of pressure off of everyone, and also will get people together more often. True, it will also mean that the meets are smaller...BUT... we can always plan a larger meet every 3 months or so... What say you?
Cheers, Tom

I do believe this idea is the [censored]. I'm down for a meet pretty much whenever. I just need to know in advance. How about a tech day again? Who wants to help install a waterpump, rear brakes, and sparkplugs and wires?? Any takers? -jason

I am a bit far south, but I have REALLY been looking for an excuse to drive up north for a weekend, but could you guys help a brother out and let me know where I could stay that's reasonably priced, how to get there, ect It would help me a lot to just tell the wife "here's where were going, it's already planned, get in the car" Anyway, I would love have a meet down here, if you guys want to come enjoy the SURF and TURF! San Diego is Great man.... best place on earth (that's why a one bedroom house is $500,000 ) Let me know!

Its a hella long drive up to the bay area,
cheap uhmmmmm well I suggest you use priceline or hotwire. Priceline should get you sumin really nice in the South bay for $50. If nothin works you can stay at one of the budget motels on El Camino Ave between San Jose and Sunnyvale for around $50/night. That is the cheapest I have ever seen em, thanks to the weak tech economy Motel 6 can no longer charge there budget rate of $80/night.
I need to order some plugs and FMS wires and I am down for some tech. Why don't we have a tech day at Stinger or TWK89's house. I would offer guys but I live in a rat hole Apt. with no place to work.
Stinger (jason) how is the HPP rear strut brace working?
