Terry, this is getting utterly ridiculous and you know it.
What on earth does the DMD issue have to do w/ the transmission episode this customer has had? Nothing at all! You drag this person through the mud, despite the fact that he had NO idea the DMD was stolen, and as soon as he found out he PROMPTLY had you fit him another one! Not to mention that the parties that were responsible for the stolen item are people you do business w/ on a regular basis.
Terry, I like you, and the way you normally do business, but this is absolutely ridiculous. You can have disagreements over who owes who what over this (multiple times) failed Bulldog trans, but to drag this person through the mud with outright slander on an issue he had absolutely NO control over, and was rectified by him as soon as he knew about it. Terry, this is bad business and you know it, and this has NOTHING even to do w/ the transmission stuff.
I must say I expected far more mature behavior out of you Terry. That is almost scripture!!! Couldn't have said it better myself! As far as "heresay" goes...we were all there to see what happened..what failed.., and one of the NY CEG Members stayed behind in Michigan a few extra days to help get a friend home....it's not heresay when it comes from people who witnessed it.

Customers first DMD failed but no major slamming the supplier on the boards,no refund offered to the customer when he paid to have the stoc one refitted and then bought another but an oil leak that was repaired with no charge and a refund to the customer from us gets all this junk...I'd say you guys have major split standards.I gave expected times for the repairs/upgrades ,none of you have the script etc of conversations exchanged betweeen myself and the customer at any time during this work,you are all making judgements on an oil leak without the full background.The customer has you manipulated to do do his dirty work by attacking me,so much for being objective.....

a refund? define refund, cause terry I dont think you know what that means. its amazing the amount of money he spent at your place and you still walk him threw the mud. should we all expect that kind of service from you?
I think this has little to do with the trans leak, and more to do with the way you are bashing him on the dmd. the trans leak just started this whole thing.

again, my I re-iterate, I am not speaking in any way about the transmission problems, only that you keep coming back w/ things about this DMD in an apparent attempt to libel (thx lunchbox, lol) this customer. The original DMD source has nothing to do with the arguments over the trans you two have been having. How many times do I have to say that the trans is completely unrelated to my posts? I am only speaking on your public bashing of this person over something not related to why you are pissed at him.

I suggest you read the first page of this post to establish who was sniping,I think it was 'SlimShady' who made a comment after the discussion about plastic lines that .....if you didn't like a customer you would use plastic lines......no rhyme or reason to that.Rick Blackfords trans has the same plastic lines that I have given you the spec for in a previous answer,his are fine.Don't kid yourself that I'm the attacker here,read that first page and see who is stirring the pot.....

who is trying to figure out who started it? the fact of the matter is you started dissing this customer for no reason, and about something that wasnt even related to the post. slim shady had a point, the lines that were on the trans of this customers car look really cheap and they held up just like they looked.

This post started as a request for a picture..!...I will add again that Rick Blackfords trans has plastic lines and has no problems....I think it's time you got off my back don't you.....

fine terry, if you wanna talk about the transmisison stuff, go for it, but don't bring up unrelated issues. I have fully read this thread, and I did see what was said, and if you want to respond to slim's comments, go for it, but don't drag the customer through the mud on somehting he had no control over.
as for the trans issue, you might be surprised as to my thoughts on the issue (judging from the way you have responded to my posts) but I refrain from posting them, because of the respect I have for both you and the customer in question, both of which I would consider a friend to some degree.
I think the customer in question has shown great restraint in not posting the entire ordeal, AND in asking others that are aware of the situation to not make public comments about it, but you see fit to drag him through the mud over completely different things that were beyond his knowledge or control, simply because you are pissed at him; how's that for objective?

Oh yeah Terry? I have a stock MTX-75 with 75,000 miles...no failures....so do countless others, yet we listen to you tell us it's a ticking timebomb. Why should I or anyone else shell out that kinda cash for something that happens to work on one car and not on another. Especially when you can't tell us that you've found the cause. Rick's car can't even drive far enough to be a good test subject. Anyone unfamiliar with the CEG jargon (DMD, bulldog, etc) would think that you're saying that the reason Rick's bulldog is so reliable is that he doesn't have a stolen DMD, just to clarify why everyone's "on your back". Why don't you admit that it might be a design issue - just an oversight. No one's gonna think you're an idiot just cause you made a little mistake. Christ, Ford does it all the time and we still own Contours.
