Terry, I don't have your side of the story, which is why i'm not saying a word on the tranny issue, that is between the two of you. I have my opinions of that situation, but I am completely refraining from discussing it until the issue is resolved between you and your customer.
I'm ONLY talking about you trying to drag him through the mud over the DMD thing. It seems you are trying to make him out to be a criminal over something he had no knowledge of, and rectified as soon as reasonably possible. (and you even made a couple of bucks of him rectifying the situation)
Again, let me re-iterate, I am ONLY speaking of the un-called for mud-slinging/slander over the source of his initial DMD, and not at all discussing the saga of this customer's transmission. The transmission thing is none of my business, and I only know about it because the customer is a friend. If I get to where I feel the need to post my thoughts/feelings on the saga over the transmission, then I will most certainly give you a call. If I am missing something on this slander issue, feel free to let me know, I am a very easy person to get a hold of (email, cell phone, work phone, work email, heck my PM box isn't even full . . .)
