I was installing my roush springs today and after getting everyting back together exect the sway bar (I think its the sway bar, the bar the turns the wheel). I tried to place the lock nut back on and it won't go. I think the threads are screwed (no pun intended). How do I fix this? I was thinking of using a hack saw and cut the bolt before the screwd threads.

Any ideas??????

it sounds like you killed the tie rod end. I would not advise attacking it with a saw. the tie rod end is not a big expense. although if you change the end youll have to get an alignment done. also invest in a tie rod fork for the future a hammer will sometimes screw up more than it will help.

COunt how many turns it takes to get off and put the new one back on with the same number of turns and your alignment won't be to far off. Good enought to drive but you still need and alignment!

Andy W. The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
