Well, I guess I got excited for now reason!
It seems that I still have an electrical problem. The Fuel pump doesn't turn on. Me and my uncle have been working on it all day long, testing this, testing that, and yes my Uncle knew exactly how to use a multimeter Mike before you ask.

We found that there is no power getting to the power connector that pluggs in to the fule pump but yet the fuel sender unit works fine and gets power just not the fuel pump. Why? we have no idea, the fuse is good, the relay is good. Then we found that no power gets to the connector for the fuel cut off switch. So we figured that thats why no power gets to the pump, wrong!

We hot wired together the fuel pump wire at the fuse box to a red "power on" wire, once we connected the fuel pump electrical connection it started to work. So the pump is good and the wires going back from the fuse box are obviously good. So why does it still not work??? The million dollor qestion!

We thought what the heck, we'll just leave it hotwired for now and try to crank the engine and see if it starts, now it gets fuel. We did that and the engine still wouldn't start.
It may not be getting spark for what ever reason but that's what I have to check next. I'll do that tomorrow and see if the plugs are actually getting spark. From there I don't know what to check. It's back to finding a needle in a haystack!

I cna't stand how it keeps teasting me like this. I think it's going to work and it just laughs at me 1 more time! I'm starting to get tired of it!!

Have you checked for any DTC codes ?

What are DTC codes? CEL codes? if so, no, I don'thave access to a OBDII scanner unfortunately.

You should hook up with Bill Jenkins, and see if he can rent you a scanner for overnight.
The codes you come up with may be very enlightening for your search.

Simon, I know what your going through im about to burn my @#!#@$ contour maybe its time to throw in the flag and bite the bullet and take it to the dealer.

Tested the spark plugs today and I get NO spark from the plugs.
I changed out the coil pack for the old one off the SE engine just incase but still no luck.

So what would cause that? Is that a computer problem?

Does it need to go into a shop to have the hole freakin thing checked cos I'm lost at this point. I really just don't know what to do.

If battery has been disconnected there would be no codes.

Have you checked for +12 volts at ignition coil (p/bk wire) with key on?

Well, the PCM has transistors that directly drive the coils in the coil pack. warmonger dug into that when he was trying to get his eManage running, so maybe you can PM him for details on those circuits.

Basically, as long as the coil pack is getting the power it is supposed to, the "switch" for firing the plugs is inside the PCM.

It would surprise me if both computers were bad, but they might both be getting bad information somehow.

Are you using the SVT computer? It has PATS (Anti Theft System) and if you switched, you would need the keys that came with the SVT.

Yes, checked that and I do have power at the coil pack connector.

I am not using the SVT ECM as yes it does have pats and I wouldn't even be able to crank the engine (I've tried).

I'll give warmonger a shout and see if he can shed any light to this nightmare!
