ok so i take my car in to the driveline shop a month ago, when i took it in, it needed a new trans mount, new shift linkage, and brakes replaced on back

so they replaced the brakes, the mount, and the linkage and took it for a test drive... when they got back they noticed the clutch was broken
i have never had a problem with my clutch before

so they replace the clutch (with a performance luk clutch)
and the synchros for 3/4 (they were bad) and 5th gear (was a tooth missing)
and i got them to install my phantom grip

i get it back yesterday

and ATF is leaking out of the tranny *drip drip* its kinda low now, and i cant drive it, and shop is closed till tuesday

also, 1/2 synchros are gone now, they were never [censored] up before... like how much bagging on your car does it take to screw up synchros like that, also the so called "performance clutch" slips really bad, and the brakes are soft.. may just need more brake fluid i dunno

so is this shop hosing me or what?? also the alignment is really off, possibly due to the taking out of hte tranny i dunno

basically the car is [censored] up more now after 3000$ in repairs than it was when i brought it in.. HELP what should i do

What was original problem that made you take car in for in the first place?

Leave it to a tranny shop to biff something up like that. When I got my car out of the tranny shop a couple weeks ago my interior was full of cigarette ashes and my drivers side fender was completely scratched to hell from the dumbass mechanic's belt buckle. Good thing I was able to sand and buff the marks out. Worst of all, my A/C no longer works. Worked fine when I drove it in.

Last weekend my pump seal began dumping large amounts of ATF on my driveway so I have to turn it back over to them for warranty repairs. God save my car. I hate tranny shops.

shift linkage had snapped off inside the trans, also had new rotor and caliper and pads for drivers rear side, was piston on caliper

thats all that was wrong with it, the synchros in 3/4 were bad, but not as bad as the 1/2 ones are now.. i dont know what the hell they did, but im taking to the shop on tuesday and telling them that i better get it back in the shape i brought it in before they [censored] it up

Ok it seems that mtx needed work and clutch replaced at same time makes sense.
Sounds like their re-build was less than it should have been so you are going to have to get them to fix it at n/c.

well, now that i have 900 kms on the new clutch it is finally acting normal, grips better than stock clutch, but not much more so, the guys at the trans shop stripped the check plug, so it was a pain to put more atf in, but i got more in today, but was running very low for about 3 days.. tranny made a humming noise but ran fine, also i found out why its leaking, at the bottom of the trans where it bolts up next to the oil pan it is missing a bolt.,. they are a bunch of morons also the synchros in 1/2 are still messed up, and were never broken till they touched my car

also that phantom grip LSD is really cool.. not as good as a quaife but for the $$, works really well
