Don't know much about that specific car but I have been doing alot of work with my Daytona and learned alot of modding a car that already has a turbo.
Couple things you want to do first. 2 3/4 or 3 inch mandrel bent exhaust with same size downpipe and hi flowing dynomax muffler. This will keep back pressure down, keeps your wastegate from opening early and then you can up the boost. Dawesdevices.com makes a real easy grainger valve manual boost controller that is simple and cheap, and almost no spiking. Any questions just send me a PM and I can throw some more info your way
