Actually, Davis is Somerville, don't let anyone tell you otherwise!!! **the Somerville kid MUST represent!!**

Funny thing about Davis... it used to be a pit. Horrible value. Cambridge residents would speak about "having to go to Somerville," like it was the west side of hell. Then, suddenly, the Someday Cafe moved in, and brought with it the artsy community... the Somerville Theater reopened, the Burren shows up, then the Joshua Tree... and a couple of years ago, it was "the coolest place in the world," according to a couple of magazines. Now Cambridge wants it for their own!! NO!!! They didn't want it then, they can't have it now!

Anyway... Davis is nice, but, it's expensive. I do know someone who might be renting out an apartment in Somerville, right on the border of both Davis and Porter Squares. There's a ton of places, but, move quick, since the students are flooding back, and all the good places are getting snatched up. There's also a set of apartments next to where my g/f lives. 1, 2, and 3br apt's for lease. If you'd like, I can get their info for you!
