Nice...another CSVT on Base! Sweet... I've seen another T-red CSVT on Base too Which is kinda funny when you think about how small Hanscom is. Slim pickins as far as watering holes in and around Bedford. Bedford's not a dry town, but they don't give out liquour licenses too often. I think there's maybe three bars in town...the VFW, the American Legion (my personal favorite), and the Ramada Hotel Bar...and that has last call @ midnight! Other than that, I drink profusely with some friends every Friday night at the 99 restraunt (SP?) on Middlesex Turnpike in Billerica (next town over from Bedford) If you want professional bars...you need to head into Boston. Check out "The Rack"

Well it's good to see you yankees like to drink as much as we do down in Texas. I'm gonna be pretty busy the rest of the week trying to find an apt, but I'm down for getting some beers anytime. I saw a silver SVT downtown on Huntington yesterday. I kinda stared down the driver. I didn't mean anything by it, just trying to check out the car. Let me know if you guys want to meet up. I'm starting to get the hang of getting around on the T. Fack driving downtown though. Oh, last night I think I found out where the ghetto begins, Orange line South of Sullivan. Anyways I'm in the Hanscom Inn, if anyone is going out e-mail me or post and I'll be there. johnelfelt@yahoo.comLate JE

Did someone say Boston and beer in the same sentence. Man, I wish it was Friday.
Oh, WELCOME to our corner of the world.

the horseshoe is great. i live the brontosuarus ribs. so good!
the clientelle is 'interesting' to look at and talk to.
and JE, you're right about the orange line, but the "ghetto" as you call it definitely doesn't start at sullivan. it's not till you get past the Mass Ave stop and head towards Roxbury.
the red line is sketchy after south station. and the entire blue line is sketchy to me.
