Hey guys, thought I would let you all know that my car is doing much better!! I found out tonight the the wiring harness is bad so I am in the process of putting my old one back in which worked when I tested it. Check out the General forum for more specifics. Later!

Glad you got it fixed, electrical problems are the worst PITA ever.

Yeah, if you dont know how to diagnose the problem.

All you need is a digital multimeter and know how to use it mister.

I would suggest making sure you know WTF your talking about before trying to make people look stupid with comments like that as you only end up looking the stupid one.

Obviously you have not kept up on my updates of this as i have had 2, yes 2 (TWO) auto mechanics look at my car, 1 being and auto electriction who went over the car from front to back with a multimeter and found nothing wrong. It wasn't a case of something obviously getting no power because EVERYTHING was getting power, seems that the harness was FUBAR'd in just the right place to make it undetecable without some serious testing hardware which with having the car in my garage I obviously don't have. I'm sure if I took it into a shop so they could put it on a diagnose machine it would have been found, but that would have set me back well over $300 I'm sure which I don't have.

Thanks for your support...

If you look at my reply, it wasn't directed at you SOB! It was a general statement for any home mechanic.

Congrats Simon.

I took your post as Simon did Mike. It doesn't read well. If you didn't intend to belittle him the first time you didn't need to insult him the second.

I took it as Mike replying to Boss's comment about electrical problems being a PITA.

That doesn't matter, though. Simon, glad to here the news Too bad this didn't happen about 2 weeks ago, eh?
