Don't forget, that Altima is available with a manual, too.
If it weren't for the WRX, the Altima SE 5spd (or is it 6spd???) would be my easy pick for the $23-28K range. If I were shopping for a car in that price bracket, while I'd probably go with the WRX, I'd still want to test drive:
Altima SE 5spd
Mercedes C-class w/supercharger and 6spd
Camaro Z28 SS 6spd
Used BMWs if I find any reasonably priced (ha!)
...I think that's it. Still love my SVT, though.
Oh! Cobra, duh. Probably 1-2 years old though, to keep the price mid-20s.
