I have a Vortex muffler right after the cat(single in dual out). Then dual 2.5 inch exhaust that follows about the same path as the stockers running side by side. Sounds like a mustang cobra at idle up to about 3000rpm then has that distinct 2.5 sound. Just ask CONTOUR98svt how it sounds. Sorry no sound clips, but if interested PM me and I can tell you where you can get it.

Not entirely related, but does anyone who was at SZ remember the exhaust on the black Focus ZX3? I think he had Vortex but not sure. If that's what he had, I can only imagine how good it would sound on Contour.

Wish I could post some sound clips for you guys, but all I can say is yes, IMO it is sweet sounding.

why don't people just answer the mans questions tell him what you think and say nothing if you chose not to share your knowedge. I read these posts looking for new ideas i don't know what i want to search for and just wish that people could answer questions in peace. every post is reduce to petty arguements by the end of the first page. if you know the answer or have an idea post it if not keep the finger on the mouse and off the keyboard. sorry to rant but i felt it needed said.
