alrite...i needed a new clutch for my 96 contour MTX zetech so i went to ford to fix it.
when i picked it up the steering rack wasnt put back in correctly. so it was sent back in.
2days afterwards of running fine, i decide to go to DC to visit a friend. on the jersey turnpike the check engine light starts flashin at me. everything looked fine. so i figured it needed oil cuz it was rough. well anyway i finally got it towed. and a few days later the shop that fixed it said there was a piston misfire in the the fourth piston.
so the guy in jersey fixes it for $125
im driving back and in conneticut the check engine light starts flashin at me again..

so what im trying to figure out is if anyone has had the same problems

Not the misfire, but work by Ford dealer causing more problems then it solves, Yes!.

Go to Autozone, they will pull codes for free and then ask on this board what they mean. You'll get a better answer here than at Ford!

A flashing CEL means a missfire. DO NOT drive the car in this condition.

Bad plug, wire, coil, etc. Get it fixed asap as it's causing engine damage while it's occuring.

2000 SVT #674 13.47 @ 102 - All Motor! It was not broke; Yet I fixed it anyway.
