The headers definetly liven up your exhaust note. With a Borla cat-back it truely is sweet music though. It can have a slight drone under load at a cruising speed (going up a slight incline at 2200rpm in 4th is a good example) There is also a slight rasp, I think it mainly comes from the easier flow of the exhaust gases that creates this noise. Mine has no tinny sound at all. One thing for sure, the motor breathes alot easier, it gets to redline much quicker (I only have exhaust mods on the car, factory airbox with original filter)
There are definite HP gains with them, how much I dont know, but I dropped 0.2 off my ET consistantly (4 passes. all 15.54-15.55) in 90 degree, hot humid day on a track known to be slower than other area tracks. The only days I seem to go to the track are the worst days to race on
