i have seen many fords last over 180k...so don't make stupid comments like no fords can last that long...my brother has a 78 f150 with 280k and still going strong...and like i said before my mom still has the mercury comet i drove in high school 168k right now and still runs fine...and i will guarantee you in 12 years my svt will be worth more than your 6000...are you forgetting it is a special edition vehicle???anyways like i said before the day you work for the money to buy you a car,and mommy stops buying you everything, then maybe someone will care...until then get a life.....i have never seen some one so ignorant as you to bash your car 1 minute, and say how much you like it the next...

No, it's not that way. I dont like my car, then hate it the next minute. I just like my Mystique, even with it's many downfalls, the thing is, you dont seem to see the downfalls. We have Ford Contours, cheapened up, plasticed out, watered down versions of the Ford Mondeo, don't forget that. Yes, you may have an SVT, but an SVT Contour would be like a Metro SS, it's still only a Contour. I'm not trying to be harsh or anything, but it is the truth. I like my Mystique, don't get me wrong, but you can't say that it's any better than the 6000. They are both American family cars, the only difference is, my S/E was marketed to the upperclass, Contours were marketed to middle/lower or small families. S/E was the most advanced GM car of it's time, the computer system was way ahead of time of even the Cadillacs, although it's obviusly been surpassed. The Contour/Mystique was not even close to being the most revolutionary, or advanced Ford, not even in 1995. Although it had many luxury comforts that not even Tauruses/Sables had (Traction Control, 10-way power seats, etc...) Their wasn't any higher technology used in the Contour. I think they're both great cars, and they're both good at certain things. The Mystique has good low-end power and handles well. The 6000 has great high-end power, and is as reliable as a tank.

sorry, but i guess you don't know very much about cars if you think an svt contour is like a metro ss...svt is a totally seperate operation, where they take a ford product and modify it..the svt contour was made to run with some of the european cars...which it does quite well i might add...just search around on the internet, and you'll find the many articles and comparisons and tests...1 in particular where the contuor svt ran circles around an infinity g20,and audi a4 in every single catagory, and for a few thousand dollars less i might add...the only thing about the tour they could complain about was they didn't like the blue interior....if you think svt's are nothing you should think again....if you don't agree that the new cobra is 1 of the baddest american muscle cars, then you are crazy...and the lightning is in awesome truck too...svt is more than just a badge on a car...so do a little research before you try and bash svt....and as far as a contour being a cheap mondeo, that's where your wrong too...the contour and stique were very well made cars that were totally underappreciated, and don't get the respect they deserve...i will stop bashing your 6000 though,to each his own(i personally still don't like it though)just get your facts straight before bashing tours and especially svt's....

That has got to be the most immature comment I have ever read on here. That's like when some 9 year old told me that Hockey was the only sport where your number matched your IQ, again, very immature.

BA HAHAHA!!!
The first thing I thought when I read this response was, are we talking the 6000 or the Mystique? HAHA!!!
Sorry, just couldn't resist.
EDIT: Wait wait, a ROUSCHE metro? Wouldn't you mean a Rousche Festiva? That would be awesome. That light of a car, slammed, four wheel drive, 5 speed, 200 hp, abs, oh, the possibilities
