All the features are pretty cool but the car looks like a$$, just my opinion.

I have never been fond of GM's all one color thing they had going when that was built. I will say though, its in probably the best shape I have seen one in for a long time. And, fixing up what I didn't like that GM did.....  I kinda miss my old Grand Am.

We really appreciate that you offered too (and offered first) ...  As a personal opinion, the car has a ton of features I'd like - especially that electronics diagnosis system (door lights etc). That would be nice for my dad's car ... one of the doors has a faulty switch that sometimes doesn't read the door's closed; and we'd like to know precisely which door! But although it's probably beauty for its time, I still like the dash design (and steering wheel) of the Contique better.

nice! my dad used to have a 1982 6000 LE 2-door (automatic) when we lived in FL. i think it had the V6 engine. IIRC, it was a very comfortable car. it was stolen and destroyed when we moved up to MA in 1988. i think it only had 40,000 miles on it and we had to junk it. too bad.
i like yours though! i don't remember our 6000 having as many bells and whistles.

the car is really nice. I would be so afraid that one of the LED displays would break or something. THe car is ugly from the outside, but I really dig the steering wheel and all of those green lights inside the car. Must look cool at night. Hey, enjoy the car. The L.E.D. is kicking, and must really relax the women. I bet their eyes must light up when all of those lights come on, especially at night.

For the person who mentioned it being a grandma car, I had to laugh out loud. My grandma had an '88 or maybe it was an '89 Olds Calais XE Special Edition AWD... pretty much the same car you see here, just with the Olds front and rear. Make no mistake about it... I wanted that car! I feel ashamed...
