there is some residue that has built up that is not easily removable, so i hope a clay-bar will be able to remove it... otherwise i will have a slightly bad looking car until i can get it painted.
Take a terry towel and put some Goo Gone on it. Moisten the adhesive a bit. Then just use your thumb to remove the adhesive. Your thumb will be sore by the time you are done, but at least you won't have any side racing stripes.
