i have overwax on my ding strips and door handles... how do i get it off w/o scratching the paint?
now officially a troll, i guess. used to have a black 96 SE, until it broke down one too many times.
now I'm hunting for a motorycle.

If it's in the little gaps, use a toothpick with some cloth (like an old t-shirt) to pick it out.

yeah, theres some in the gaps, but whats bugging me is some crap thats built up on the plastic piece that goes around the door handle... its like a film or something..

well i removed my door ding guards,, simple enough process, thing is it's gonna take me forever to get the adhesive off,, so for now i'm driving around with white side racing stripes  there is some residue that has built up that is not easily removable, so i hope a clay-bar will be able to remove it... otherwise i will have a slightly bad looking car until i can get it painted.

Take a terry towel and put some Goo Gone on it. Moisten the adhesive a bit. Then just use your thumb to remove the adhesive. Your thumb will be sore by the time you are done, but at least you won't have any side racing stripes.

i tried goo gone and it works about as well as water...i'm beginning to like my white side racing stripes, maybe i'll leave them....... kidding
