I'm looking to replace the springs and struts in my 99 se v-6 MTX in a couple of weeks and have been calling around for prices on labor, including a mechanic that i have been going to for years and I have been amazed at how much they are trying to charge! Is there anyone in the NE area that is mechanically inclined and posesses the right tools to do this work and is looking to make some money? I am somewhat mechanically inclined and a quick learner and I'm sure I can be of assistance in doing the work I just don't want to pay 300 bucks labor when it seems like it shouldn't be that difficult. Also, I would be much more comfortable having someone who is familiar with our cars doing the work on it. Lastly, if anyone can recommend any garages where you have had work done cheap it would be appreciated. I'm also looking to put in a DMD since you guys seem to be in love with them and it is a cheap part.
