I THINK i remember some post from before the changing of our beloved contour.org about the power output of a 3.0 running 3.0 heads with the 2.5 svt cams and computer, Im interested in this because i would like the lower compression for relability issues and such.. If anyone remembers this our could find it in search (cause i couldn't) It would be great, Also is anyone running a setup like this?

Jiako has his setup like that. It is the best combination from a Neutral N/A standpoint. So that you can go to a Turbo or S/C later. Bottom end work would be recommended for that though.

what bottom end work would be recomended with this swap? the big thing that attracts me to it is the low compression ratio. Still guess as to the power output of this setup?

~195FWHP/~185FWTQ for a full 3L swap with SVT cams.

This low compression ratio you speak of is the same 10:1 as most SVT's. With 00 SVT's having 10.25:1 & normal Duratec's 9.7:1

Personally I would jump on the extra compression bandwagon and ride the SVT cams like they should be ridden. Of course I have no plans for forced induction ever.

I really Have no plans for forced induction either, Im Sorry for misunderstanding about the C/R i thought it was lower on the 3.0 Now that i know its not much lower I will be going with the svt heads and cams
