Yesterday morning I went out to start my car, only to find out it wouldn't start easily . So after giving it a little gas it started up and ran fine. No Problem. But...this morning the same thing happened...except i heard a loud shreek(sp?) and I found out my daytime running lights weren't running and that my high-beam indicator was flashing . CEG what does all this mean?

Thanks in advance
Alec

Thanks for the reply!
I Figured something like that for the flashing highbeam, but would this cause the daytime running lights to not work? But my main concern is it not starting easily it's that it was 15C outside and that by winter it will be as cold as -30C. What causes me to need to give it gas to start up?

Anyways I found out what the problem was and my contour stranded me for the first time. The pulley is seized and now my car will be spending it's nights at the crappy tire parking lot until I get the chance to borrow my dad's truck so I can give it a tow. The irony is I just found out that the same thing happened to my father's 'tour a week earlier.

Ahhh...there's your problem...convert celcius to fahrenheit and you'll be fine.
