Hey FordTruckGuy,

Hi man! Yeah, you're not the ONLY CEG'er in the Topeka area. I live in Wamego, I presume ya know where that's at. Work for the state in downtown Topeka.

I haven't been through the divorce BS...I haven't gotten married. Seen too many of my buddies get shafted. My brother got the royal shaft a few years ago when he split, and his old lady is getting alimony of $35,000 a year (no kids), and she's able bodied and can work. She's also getting 1/3 of his retirement, even if she gets remarried in the meantime.

Hey man, what's going on with your truck? Simple problems, or major problems that require a lot of money?

Oh yeah, steer clear of downtown tomorrow (Saturday), its gonna be nasty, with the Nazi's, the NAACP, and Fred's family all getting into the action. GRIN

Well my truck won't start, I had to replace the ignition switch in it and for some reason when I put the stearing column back together the truck wouldn't start. It cranks over all day but won't fire...

hmmm, sounds like an electrical problem. Maybe the new switch didn't get connected quite right. Shouldn't be too expensive to fix, since your truck ran before you replaced the switch. Yeah, I know when the ex has taken all your money, even the simplest repair can cost a fortune.

Hey, you asked why I call myself Beachboy. Nope, not a surfer dude, that was my handle back in the old CB radio days. My first job after I got out of school was at Beech Aircraft in Wichita, and I used Beechboy as my handle. Most guys were used to the spelling of the old rock group Beachboys, so I just modified it to Beachboy.

Hey man, hang in there, I know you're going through some damn rough times right now. Its bad enough that your ex is taking all your money and toys, but it really hurts that the kids are involved. I just hope she stays around the Topeka area and doesn't move, so you can at least see your kids on a regular basis.

Hey man, hang in there, its gonna get better someday. Wish I could drop off a bottle of Southern Comfort to ya tonight, since I know you could probably use it. GRIN

Yeah the problem is definatly electrical... I'm thinking of just hotwiring the dang thing to buypass the whole ignition system and making it into a push-button start.

I know my crappy taurus had to have pliers to start it for about a month cause the key broke in the ignition.. After finally buying the part and installing it I was thinking why i didn't do that before.
