stage II's from hids4less.com

YES, you need projectors, and if you call the guys up there, like I have been, maybe they'll do it for us, but until then, it sucks for the other drivers on the road. The lighting is superior by far, no comparison, but with projectors, at least the lumens given off by the 6000k hids will be harnessed, not lost by random refractions that the 98+'s do.

I recommend www.autotoys.com

I bought my 6000k kit from them. It is purplish and STAYS that way at all times. The light is NOT white. Those people that have them know what I mean.

If you want pics, go to my webpage...

Unfortunatley I cannot recommend autotoys.com. I ordered a set of fogs and headlights from them. They promptly charged my credit card for headlamps that were on backorder..with no expected date to get them back in, they also sent me broken fogs. Upon tryin gto get into contact with someone, I found only some crummy forums and email forms where my problems were never answered. I finally broke down and called their "sales only" line and demanded to speak to a person. I finally got my fogs sent back and a different set of headlights..but they charged me a $4 restocking fee for bulbs I played no part in breaking, and the whole ordeal took about 2 weeks!!

Euro lights are nice. Both of my Ramcharger's are fitted with them. The `77 has my first set. They are made by Autopal, a much needed improvement over the lights I was used to (ie. Contour). The `80 has a full set of Hellas. Those were even better then the Autopals. The horizontal cutoff was sharper and the glass/reflector appeared to be made of better materials. The most amazing thing about having e-code lights. When you normally wouldn't be able to see (snowfall, fog, behind a rig in the rain) you now can! I came home at the speed limit one night about a year ago in fog that was almost thick enough to be cut with a knife. I could see just fine, like the fog wasn't even there. Snowflakes are neat too, you won't see them till they pass the cutoff then they are pure white.

Now only if I could have projectors for the `tour I would be happy.
