I've changed my filter last year and just lately I bought the CTA...
You probably don't know when u father last changed his filter.. right ?? So I would check... see if it is clean and all that... it is very easy to check that...
Like i said,.... i changed mine last year and this year when I went to remove it to install the CTA was pretty dirty..
