I can't believe the effort you guys go through in changing your oil just to avoid taking the wheel off. I've done over 20 oil changes on my tour over the past 3 years and every time I take the passenger wheel off, I've now got the change down to about a 20 minute job from tire-off to tire-on. Also, with the tire off you can put a peice of cardboard bent in a V-shape under the oil filter and direct it down in front of the A-arm to channel the oil into the drip pan. I barely ever get even a drop of oil on the boot, frame etc. All this and I don't have to twist my arm and wrist out of shape!
