If a contact is bent, even slightly, it can cause a break in the circuit which won't allow the vehicle to start with the chip installed. Check all of the electrodes on the PCM where the chip is installed. Look for any bent electrodes that could cause a poor contact surface.
If you have installed & removed various chips it could have easily bent an electrode in the PCM.

Mark Thanks for the advice, the only thing is that Vortech requested that I send back both chips so I did that yesterday.  In the mean time, I have Diablo building me a Vortech program, whilst I am waiting for the Vortech Superchip to arrive.

I received a Superchip today, and it works. Now I just have to work on the heat soak. The filter needs to be moved away from the engine bay. I can feel it bog during city driving. Filter sure gets hot too.
