Update for the records:
Switch was replaced under warranty, problem fixed. On a side noteâ?¦ the 95 & early 96 cars have a completely different resister pack than the recalled carsâ?¦ itâ??s black.
The extended warranty coverage on the switch is good for 150k. Dealer has to fix it free.
