"Best" depends entirely on what you deem most important. I would suggest searching, but since there's no "archive" it wouldn't do you much good.

I have the Borla and love it. It gives its best gains at the lower rpms, where the duratec is weakest, and the sound is low and aggressive without being obnoxious.

The Bassani, I've heard, gives better peak gains, maybe even better overall with the resonator tips removed (I can't remember, exactly) but the sound is more, well, "in your face."

I'm a 35 year old suburban dad, so the Bassani was not for me.

I don't know anything about the Yo-Dude.

As for the SVT exhaust, it will help you, and it will be cheaper, but I figured why should I put the SVT castoffs on my car when I can get the same stuff the SVT's are upgrading to?

Very good point. I've always thought the same (as long as you have the cash, that is).

Be warned, though, the Borla tips sticking out of a non-SVT are not for everyone. At least one person here has had them cut off and replaced with hidden down-turns. Pretty cool, but not in my budget right now (although not that expensive to do.)

They look ok from some angles:

And not quite as good from others.

More at my website.

Performance Fords really took care of me and my SVT with the Brullen loud and center resonator. Very nice in my opinion. I paid about $650 if I remember correctly.

Now owner of 0 SVT's. my web page
