The latest is that it looks like the synchros for 1st, 2nd & Reverse are the issue. I guess whenever the ESP guy comes around I will know for sure. Dixie won't tear down the tranny until they get the go ahead from ESP. I miss my beast!!!!!
Hopefully I will get some new parts out this and the car will run better. I will keep a very close ear to the ground to see if this "fix" cures this long time problem with the tranny. Oh well, will keep you posted.
BTW the door sill guards look great. A nice touch. It would look better on a darker car, but it is in keeping with my silver look.(silver head unit on car stereo, aluminum dash kit etc.)
