I simply answered some questions brought forth by other members. I was not attacking MSDS, nor was I trying to sell our headers.

Do you have a set of these? Have you seen a set on a Contour/Cougar after 12/15k miles on them? Especially a car that has seen northern winter?

Oh, and is Performance Fords making a $2500-3000 kit for the V6?

Mild steel is vastly differant than T321 Stainless steel. Ceramic coating works for just so long.

Turbo is a good way to go..esp if you even thinking about going with the so called S/C thats has caused nothing but problems ..

If your going to promote a company, get the information and a real price for a kit on the SAME engine. They haven't released any information for the V6 much less Dyno graphs, price, and install pics on two vehicles. Get real.

As far as the MSDS headers, I've seen a few people complain about fitment and quality issues, on the old forums. I hope they are better now.

I talked to Alessandro from Performance fords today, and he told me the Turbo for the Duratec, due out in Dec or Jan will be in the 3k range without the intercooler, and 3.5 k with.....

With respect, what does this have to do with MSDS headers group buy? When both turbo kits are released we can compare them and then talk about their advantages and disadvantages. These kits could be(and most likely are)completely different. Let's have this thread regain direction.

Nothing personal Chris, but you were COMPLETLY raining in, MOOSE thanks for the stick up, and also Chris, lets try to stay on topic!

Anyway EVERYONE i hope to hear from MSDS on tomorrow and if i don't will give him a call!~! ALSO, just incase, because of some NEGATIVE comments, i'll ask the guy at MSDS about any rusting problems they might have had or fixed! So, i'll make up a new post tomorrow and let eveyone know what i have found out! THANKS everyone for being Patient!~!

there's a bit of discussion over on NECO about opinions on the MSDS headers and such here
The subject of the ceramic coating comes up a couple times as well, and if you scroll down to mastamoon's post, he gives a decent opinion on the more recent ceramic coating vs. the older coating (Marty has apparently changed to a different company to do the ceramic coating).
