As we deal with these cars day in and day out, let me say that we saw the changeover starting to occur as early as December 1997. During this period, and into January 1998, I have personally seen E0's with E1 front suspension arms but E0 front brake calipers and pads, then by January and into February, when my SVT was produced, it had (has) the newer front suspension and front brake calipers and pads, same as for all non SVT Contours. The complete changeover for the E1 did not occur in 1999, but right around January to February 1998. See it to believe it, check our my SVT on our web site.
